Here I will try to explain the "techniques" i came across accidentally relating to Astral travel.

The first for me personally is lying down on your back, doing this can put you in the "zone" for astral travel or projection almost immediately. When doing this in a really relaxed state can in my own opinion promote vibrations (one of the primary symptoms of Astral travel) through out the body, and can give a feeling of falling or speeding through the night sky.

A second would be when going to bed at night having an abundance of blankets on your bed is key, I believe the higher in temperature you are in bed when dreaming, the greater the chance of projecting yourself, for some reason my own most vivid experiences have been when I've roasting hot in bed.

A third personally would be to stay anti social as sad as it sounds for a day or so before hand, watching no television or video games at all for hours before going to bed as well. You want your mind as fresh and clear of both drama and unnecessary thoughts as possible. Having had allot of astral projecting experiences myself these three "techniques" in my opinion will help allot to achieving an experience of your own.

Steps for Entering the State of Astral Projection Vibrations

A lot of people have tried to achieve astral projection and get to the astral projection vibrations. But they find that it's too difficult. But there are steps that you can take to get to the astral projection vibrations. These steps are going to make it a lot easier for you and help you to do what you want to.
The first thing that you want to do is to find a place that is appropriate for your astral projection. Due to the fact that the state of astral projection vibrations is achieved in the later part of your astral projection, it's important that your room does not have bright light and it's free of any disruptions.


The next thing to do to enter the state of astral projection vibrations is to achieve some deep relaxation. You can use mediation, chanting of mantras, yoga, or deep breathing. In other words, you want to be approaching the sleep state without actually going to sleep. This balance, which is known as a hypnagogic state, requires that you keep control and focus. Make sure that your mind is clear of any and all distractions and keep meditating on that darkness that you feel when you are close to sleep. Soon you should stop feeling the boundary that exists in between the space around your body and your body. The only consciousness you have should be only in your mind and thoughts.


The third thing you want to do is to perform a mental scan of your muscles and extremities. In order to get to that vibrational state, you need to feel some kind of energy flowing through all of them. It should be warm or tingling. If you don't feel the sensation, there's thing that you can do to make it happen. Lay down going north to south with your head pointing north. Ensure that you're warm and comfortable. Focus on the different points of your room, drawing energy lines between those areas and your body. Visualize yourself pulling energy from the areas to your body.
